Lily loves to come cuddle with mommy on the bed in the front room now that she's accepted the fact that I can't get up and hold her for now. We find things to do to keep her entertained, one of which was caught on film in the not-so-glamorous shots below. :-)
Our little Lily turned 2 yesterday and had a marvelous birthday! She was so darling and fell instantly in love with our $4 DI bargain pony we found, refusing to get off to open her other presents. She had a day date with Seth as Wendy took care of all of us, then Reagan came over later for pizza and birthday cookies (sans the candles because they're not allowed in the apartment...) But pictures speak better than words - here are some of my favorites plus a cute movie clip of Lily on Bullseye, the horse's name in honor of her favorite movie, Toy Story 2!

hey dude! How goes the resting? Gpa and gma brought lily this morning. She was excited to see the boys and started playing right away. She is very intrigued by jeric and when i was nursing him, she grabbed he pony and started copying me. I was trying to cover up. It was so funny. She got her blankie too and tried to cover up. I couldn't get a pic cause i was nursing and batteries are dead. I will have to try another time. One questions...she is in the room right now, 12:13 p.m. for nap. not asleep yet, but just put her in. My question is, how long are her naps usually? That way i know if she is rested or not. Thanks and don't worry about her. She is having fun and dalton keep s saying in a high pitched, baby talk vioce, "Lily, can you believe it, you get to have a sleepover for four nights!" Then he smiles really big and gives her a hug. Anyway, very cute and sorry for th long post, just couldn't call you with brad at work. Thanks.
also, gpa didn't bring any milk in. can she drink 1% i don't have any whole milk. Was is just forgotten? No crying...I think she finally fell asleep! :)
uh, me again! :) i posted some pics of miss L today...we went to the park and it was sooooo hot! no she is not sunburned, we just all turned red in the face because of the heat! We love you and enjoy your resting!

Congrats on having another baby - that is so exciting! Was it really 2 years ago that I came to your first babies shower? Wow!

Hey Huffs- I stumbled upon your blog today and I'm so happy! Isaac and I often talk about our Huff buddies and wonder how you're doing. Now we can blog stalk you! First of all Lily is beautiful!!!! Second of all so are you Val. No one should look that good pregnant. It makes the rest of us feel horrible. Sorry to hear about Lily's surgery and your bed rest Val!
