A real post

It's been awhile since I did a post about our actual lives, and this one's a doozy. Lily....drumroll please....had her first real haircut! Real as opposed to fake, which was when I tried to trim it and hacked it into a boy-looking bowl cut. So, Grandpa Roland gave her bangs and a bob and it is so adorable! The original plan was to trim as little off as possible, but I finally convinced Ryan that an actual style would be better. We had to bribe her with smarties to hold still and look at herself in the mirror, but when all was done she exclaimed "I like it!" So it was a success! I can't stop snapping photos, and I am stunned at how much she looks like pictures of MY first haircut...am I imagining that, mom?
Anyway, a few other cute photos of the sisters laughing together, Lily playing in the snow for the first time (kept washing the tree with it and singing "Frosty-man"), and a few of her going to bed with the Baby Jesus from her Little People nativity set. She insisted on taking Him with her and when I asked why she said, "scared" and hugged Him tight. Which I am thinking means that she wants Him so she won't be scared since we always tell her that if she is, she can say a prayer. So sweet!
I love Christmas time!

You have some cute girls there. Looks like things are going well. We don't have that much snow yet but it's coming and when it comes it hits us hard....remember those goood ol' winter days in Logan...yeah it's coming. Have a fun Christmas and Happy New Year!

Val! I found your comment on Krista's blog and tracked you here. You look great - and your little girl looks just like you. So glad you are happy and well. It looks like Stacey ended up in New Orelans? Wow! I am loving San Francisco - it great to be near my family. Tell your family hi for me.

Darling haircut...it really does make her look very girly. I love it. So Cordelle is very upset that I am not sharing in your delightful shopping habits. We'll really have to sit down one day and have you show me how you do it cause that is incredible the amount you save. Anyways oh yea it was abbey kyhl (abbeykyhl.com). She does a good job. Cordelle wants to know why all your pols on the side of your blog are closed? He wanted to weigh in.

Okay maybe that didn't make sense... Abbey kyhl was who did our pictures (I didn't clearify that). Also I heard that Avery has RSV?! Crazy that we were talking about thy and she really has it. I hope she feels better soon. How long does it usually last?
