Germs

I think I am failing as a mother.
Hence the post-less blog for the past month. At least one person in our home has been sick since New Years, so I am just grateful that we were all well for Christmas and New Years, since Avery had RSV for the 3 weeks before Christmas too! My sad, sick kiddies have been so sweet, despite being cooped up in this house for weeks on end.
Avery is so grown up now! She has two front teeth (that cut on Christmas day, haha), can sit up by herself, eats all sorts of baby foods and goos and babbles all the day. Lily is regressing and refuses to potty train, feed herself, speak real words, and sometimes walk. Then when we got out the high chair for Avery, I told her she was such a big girl. Lily heard me, thought for a moment, then jumped up on a chair, stood on her tippy toes, reaching for the sky, and exclaimed, "I BIG!" So I suppose all I need to do is treat Avery like a 2 year old and we'll be FINE. :-)

It's great to see you guys are still surviving! Those beautiful girls are growing up so fast!

I'm so sorry about the RSV! My MaKenna had that when she was almost 2 months old and it was scary. My goal this year is to not let Bailey get it, so far so good. These mean bugs our kids get, it makes you wonder how we are all still alive. I hope this year is better and that you all stay well and happy. Take care!

Lily is a very darling big girl...it's definitely difficult to watch a younger sibling use things you used to. You are also a FABULOUS mother, don't ever forget it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
