My Angel Mother
I am overcome with the compassion, love, and care that is rendered by my sweet mother! Knowing I was having a hard time coping with the loneliness and sleepless nights, she drove down after spending the night at my sister's house babysitting so they could go out for my bro-in-law's b-day, and surprised me at my front door Friday night! She was here to help take care of my family so I could have some much-needed rest and greatly-desired recreation. Isn't she wonderful? THEN she drove down to my other sister's house to help HER for a day! And all with a broken thumb!!!
I feel so blessed and happy to have her for a mother!
I LOVE YOU MOM!
Here are some shots of the fun weekend! Lily LOVED the snow...the snowman, eating the stuff, sledding all by herself, crawling like a cat in snow up to her cat-chin, making snow angels, and hot chocolate afterwards! We were determined to have fun, so despite the fact that she fell asleep on the three-minute drive, we woke her and had a blast anyway!
Lily is also loving dress-ups more and more every day, dancing on her daddy's feet, and helping do her own nails while sticking q-tips in-between her toes!!
Avery HATES to be on her tummy and can't crawl an inch yet, but she LOVES to stand holding on to furniture! What a big girl! Ryan loves to put her on Lily's bike and blow in her face so that the pictures look like she is cruising along, full-throttle. :-)
These kids are too fun!

Aren't moms the best?! That is so nice of her to come down and do that.
We had a great time, thanks for FHE!
Yes, mom is awesome! :) I'm SO glad she was able to come down and it looks like you guys had such fun! Love you, miss you, and love all those darling pics!
Cute pictures! Isaac thinks Lily and Sabrina look a lot alike. I think so too! Avery is adorable, we hope one day to meet her before someone sweeps her off her feet because of those beautiful eyes!!
We love you!
Steph
Val! I am so happy that you found me! It looks like our families are rather parallel, right? Two girls, a two-year-old and a baby...when are their birthdays? And where are you guys living? Somewhere within driving distance for your mom, I see, somewhere with snow, and not Spanish Fork. Uh, I guess Cedar City? Oh, yeah, and somewhere with a school. What is Ryan studying? Oh, I have so many questions. You should do a "In Case You Missed the Last 7 Years" blog.
So fun! Hey its good thing you guys didnt end up coming over on Sunday. Seth has strep!! He was croupy and hacking all night (and for the next three nights). Poor kid. He's still sick sick sick. But atleast he's on antibiotics till Sunday so hopefully Jaq wont get it. I hope you guys are all well.
PS know anyone that would like some Disney on Ice tickets?
You do have an amazing mom! I can't believe how big your kids are getting!
FYI...I changed by blog to private. If you want to look at it you'll have to email me your email address at c-k-guest@live.com.
