Update

I guess I ought to give a general update for my first "real" post.

Generally, we are all doing very well. Ryan is working hard at school and with his new Eccles Hall Director position...we are occasionally stunned by the silliness of students and get a good chuckle out of it, but for the most part they are good "kids"(they are our age, but we seem so old...).

I am settling into our apartment and pray that Ryan doesn't get anymore fancy ideas because I am tired of moving. For those who don't know, we purchased our first home last September and got to live there for almost three months before Ryan took his new job and we moved into the dorms. Now we rent out the upstairs and downstairs seperately and are discovering the joys of being homeowners/landlords. Our latest adventure is discovering that we need to replace our entire sewer line (which they are actually starting today!) which will cost us at least $8000, if their estimate is correct since they weren't sure where the line came out of the house. Luckily we found a company that does "pipe bursting" and only has to dig two big holes instead of trenching the entire line, which saves us about $4000 in concrete work, if they are right and it runs under our driveway and the city main line is on the other side of the street! So much to learn...

Lily is stinking adorable. We asked her what to name baby sister the other day and she said "Jo-Jo", so Ryan and I are thinking about Josie, which we actually both agree on! Still up for good suggestions, though, as we count down to July 22!
Lily's favorite pasttimes are cooking with mom, going for walks, playing mama to all of her dolls, coloring, bubbles, and wearing mom's flip-flops. She will be a great big sister.
